It’s TACO Tuesday!

We love our delicious large Argentine Shrimp and want to share a simple, easy and tasty way of preparing it!

In a medium high heat wok, we sauteed 2 small sliced vidalia onions with some coconut oil for a few minutes, then we added shrimp from frozen ( so easy to cook) and seasoned with my favorite spices for shrimp, we let them cook for about 6-7 mins, tossing them and making sure they get all the aroma and flavor from the seasonings and onions. Corn is a great seafood companion so we added some corn that gives that extra sweet taste. As we removed the shrimp from the wok, we carefully peeled them exposing that luxurious meat, and I have to confess, I tried a bite,  it was perfect! So we sliced it and added back to the wok just to mix them well with the onions and corn. After a minute we added it to warm flour tortillas and called it ” the best Shrimp taco ever!” My fiancee likes sweet and smokey flavors, so a drizzle of BBQ sauce over the taco made me feel like I’m a fancy chef lol,  and that’s it! Dinner done right!

What are my favorite seafood seasonings ?

We used 3 Bay leaves, and a sprinkle of mustard seeds, ginger, paprika, nutmeg, cardamom, whole allspice, cinnamon, salt and black pepper.

Gourmet at Home:

Enjoy white wine with your seafood meal, like a Sauvignon Blanc, since it has a citrus driven flavor, it can pair very well with our Gourmet Shrimp Tacos, Cheers!
